First, the five countries I myself am designing:

Empire of Marius

Ruler: Emperor Marius Shadouno(resembles Tanicius the Fox)

Government: Liberal Dictatorship

Culture: Mixed with overtones of another culture, like Earth's USA.

State Religion and Policy: Cult of Granerzo. Non-believers encouraged to convert to the state faith, but are tolerated.

Character of the nation: Extremely aggressive, expansionist, cosmopolitan. True to his name, Marius(Marius means "Son of Mars", Mars being the Roman god of war) is extremely expansionist in agenda. His seemingly-endless hordes of soldiers are only kept in check by a loose network of alliances encircling his recently-forged realm. Marius is also a very open ruler; he allows a multitude of ideas and freedoms in his realm, so long as they don't interfere with his own rules and goals.

Equinfucia

Ruler: Enlightened One Li Chung(resembles Fei the Mountain Horse)

Government: Theocracy

Culture: Chinese/East Asian

State Religion: No "faith" per se. Instead, there is a set of secular virtues similar to Confucianism, emphasising harmony, peace, order, respect, etc. So long as religions adhere to these key ideas, the government usually doesn't care what people follow.

Character of the nation: Extremely pacifistic. Like a foil to the Marian Empire and Wombat Confederation, Li Chung and his predecessors have always stated that war - and all violence - is immoral, and should only be pursued in self-defense, or when there is a threat that cannot be ignored, i.e. genocide. Thus, Equinfucia has some of the highest diplomatic - not to mention commercial - clout due to it's historical neutrality.

Wombat Confederation

Ruler: High Chief Chuluun Batukhan(resembles Ashworth the Wombat)

Government: Tribal Confederation

Culture: Militaristic, like Mongol or Zulu

State Religion: None. Faith is not important to the Confederation, Strength is. Thus, members are free to worship as they like, they usually worship gods of war, strength, discipline, etc.

Character: Militaristic, expansionist, xenophobic. Like their similar counterparts on Gloreya, the Wombat Confederation is among the most warlike countries on the face of Vorizu. They are extremely xenophobic, and dislike foreigners. Their intellectual isolation is the main reason they are so isolated, that and the fact they dug a whole canal along their southern border with their bare paws. However, with Chuluun's rise, the clan has opened up somewhat; those who can prove their strength are welcomed into the tribe, and referred to as "Wombats in Spirit." A contrast to weak wombats, who are called "Wombats in Name Only."

Genovica

Ruler: Doge Lorenzo V di Foscari(resembles Miles Prower)

Government: Republic

Culture: Italian

State Religion: Northern Messianism(similar to Catholicism). Non-believers persecuted harshly.

Character: Mercantile Republic, moderately-peaceful. The empire is generally neutral, and only becomes violent when it's stability is threatened. It does however, have a bad habit of going to war with Bosvoria over trade disputes, especially with how arrogant the current ruler of said country is.

The nation has close relations with Canidia, Nomland, and Niphindi. Canidia's ruler, Nitro, is the brother of Lorenzo. Nomland's ruler, Maurice, is the mate of Lorenzo. They have one son, Venezio, who is the King of Niphindi and is the first in a line of Kings belonging to the "House of Ogilvie-Foscari."

Bosvoria

Ruler: Emperor Achilles III Theophilus(resembles Knuckles the Echidna)

Government: Dictatorship

Culture: Greek

State religion: Southern Messianism(similar to Christian Orthodoxy), though Emperor Achilles has been trying to use his great deeds as a way to create a personality cult centered on himself. People aren't really persecuted for their beliefs as long as they're loyal to the Emperor and pay their taxes.

Character: Mercantile Empire, somewhat aggressive, historically peaceful. Under Achilles III's rule, the empire has already waged several wars, due to the gullibility and arrogance of the Emperor. While there have been some gains, much of the empire is experiencing economic troubles, and revolution is brewing, seeking to establish a Genovica-esque Republic.

Nomland

Ruler: Maurice III of the House of Ogilvie(resembles Sonic the Hedgehog, but much fatter)

Government: Nominal Constitutional Monarchy

Culture: Scottish-Nordic.

State Religion: Cult of Indulgence. This worships the deity Eclipse, who represents all sorts of earthly pleasures, primarily gluttony.

Character: Obesity is fairly rampant throughout Nomland; this is a natural result of the cold climate and an abundant food supply. The country itself has lost much of it's independence; after a devestating war with the Empire of Marius, most of it's trade is with the Empire, and it blindly follows Marius' foreign policy.

King Maurice is nonetheless goodhearted(though his literal heart could very well be in trouble), and tries his best to be generous to his people despite Marius' demands. King Maurice is mates with the Doge of Genovica, Lorenzo; he has a single son with him, Venezio, ruler of Niphindi.

Enirwa

Ruler: Skyrix

Government: Technically a republic, though in practice, it is a dictatorship maintained through mind-control.

Culture: British, with hints of Chinese due to influx of immigrants from the Oriental regions.

State Religion: State-enforced atheism, though worship of Glaz, the God of Sloth, is very common behind the scenes.

Character: The country itself has changed a lot since Skyrix usurped the last ruler. Using his hypnosis powers, he has altered the mental plane of the country; citizens think freely, but he can easily change that by giving specific orders and tasks at-large to his population. While some are immune to these powers, said immunity is few and far between.

The ruler's emotions and thoughts can easily get channeled down to the common masses; this is one reason why the commoners have a habit of getting vorishly-hungry at times... In addition, as a sign of wealth, the closer one is to the ruler, the more overweight they are on average.

Canidia

Ruler: Nitro V(Nee-chro)

Government: Enlightened Despotism

Culture: Native American formally, but in practice, many cultures have melted together due to trade influence. The reverence for nature is a primary reason the country's Native/Pagan heritage remains strong.

Religion: Shamanism and Naturalism

Character: A deep reverence for nature. They are constantly planting more and more trees to increase the size of their forests and replace the trees cut down. They try to not disrespect nature at all and kill only for food. Trees are generally taken down only for needed space or building materials.

Their people most often live in the cities, but the forests usually have traps or actually hidden surveillance equipment, just to try and keep out invaders or pillagers and raiders and all that. They get a heads up notice and are usually ready ahead of time.

The people are pretty wealthy, with only a few that aren't that wealthy. Normal laws such as stealing and murder for no reason are still against the law.

Voring someone is allowed as long as it is not done in a violent way. If it is violent then it would be against the law. Also voring someone who is in a higher class than you are is against the law, you can only vore in the class you are in.

The cities are pretty active, but many people do still live in the forests as well just to stay close to nature.

There is some military, but its not that big, since usually they trade and pay their allies to patrol their borders to protect them. Since going with a heavy land based invasion would be pretty hard with the thick trees everywhere. If you are a friendly nation, they will trade and be your friends; if you are disrespectful to them, they will just blockade you and not trade with you, they wont attack you.

People are allowed to come to the king as well to make requests for laws, tell him things, ask if they are allowed to eat someone in a different class, but have to give him proof of a reason why you would want to, and he has to approve.

Niphindi

Ruler: Venezio of the House of Ogilvie-Foscari(resembles Silver the Hedgehog)

Government: Semi-Constitutional Monarchy

Culture: East Asian(especially Japanese), lots of Indian and Arabic influences

Religion: No official state religion. The populace at large practice faiths similar to Buddhism and Hinduism; there is a sizable minority that practices Prophetism, primarily in the Western colonies.

Character: The nation of Niphindi is one of the most advanced, most wealthy, most cosmopolitan states in the world. Almost all the energy is nuclear, solar or water-generated, with other alternative sources used as well. The country has plenty of gold reserves, which was used to finance it's climb to energy independence and development. It has succeeded against all odds; it's terrain is almost all desert, mountains, and jungle. It's success is attributed to mineral wealth, and the huge population it's floodplains support. It also welcomed intellectual refugees from wars, spurring it's growth.

It's ruler, Venezio, is the son of Doge Lorenzo of Genovica and King Maurice of Nomland. He is the first in a line of rulers called the "House of Ogilvie-Maurice." Despite his hedgehog appearance, most assume that he likely possesses the longevity of his "mother(Lorenzo)"'s bloodline.

Imperium Malicium

Ruler: Vladimir

Government: Dictatorship with Theocratic overtones

Culture: Russian-Slavic

Religion: Cult of Malice

Character: A moderatly-aggressive country, the Imperium Malicium has a very strong economy, with abundant resources, huge amounts of trading activity and manufacturing, and usually-able leadership. Colonies abroad allow it to gain all the resources and trade partners it needs, while it has a strong navy to protect it's island nation and it's trade routes. The country is known for seeking nuclear capability, and is very close to this goal.
